Valérie Baetens is the founder of Buenavida® and Buenavida® Academy. She works as a psychic, medium, healer and facilitator, and has supported more than 2000 clients and trained more than 100 people as trance energy healers. Her work is global: trainings, retreats and speaker events, online and in person.

A solitary awakening
Valérie found herself alone in her spiritual awakening, in a world that did not yet speak the language of energy or soul. With no one around her to mirror it, she travelled abroad to study with teachers who understood what she was experiencing. What began as her own healing slowly became her life’s work.
Digital marketing
Valérie is trained as a Digital Marketing Manager, with more than 13 years of professional experience, including at a large beauty company in Belgium. That eye for branding still shapes how Buenavida® is built.
Buenavida® begins
As a clothing webshop. The name stands for living a good life, and Valérie always knew Buenavida® would become more than clothing.
Sharing the work openly
A shop in Antwerp’s Kloosterstraat: clothing on the ground floor, and in the basement a healing space, The Mindful Cave. Clothing turned into healing. She makes room in her daily life for her soul mission, starts one to one sessions, and her agenda fills up quickly.
Groups and retreats
Clients ask for group sessions, then for retreats. Every step follows a question that was asked.
The first trainings
Clients want to learn the work themselves. Trainings and retreats fill up, and extra editions often have to be added. Buenavida® is registered as a trademark, and from then on her retreats and clients are international.
